§ 32.65. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES.

  • The duties and responsibilities of the Police Advisory Board shall be as follows:

    (A)

    Serve as liaison between the Police Department and the community, and the City to increase communication between the Police Department and the City;

    (B)

    To assist the Police Chief and District Commanders, through input, in making quality decisions; to assist in the addressing of short-term and long-term concerns of the community and help identify priorities and solutions;

    (C)

    To provide input on police policies, procedures and practices designed to decrease misunderstandings with and among the members of the community; and

    (D)

    To review and make recommendations concerning such other matters as may be referred to the Board, from time to time, by the Chief of Police, the City Manager or City Commission.
