§ 33.36. AGREEMENTS AUTHORIZED.

  • The Mayor (or other chief executive officer) is authorized and directed to execute all necessary agreements and amendments thereto with the State agency, and to request the Governor to authorize an employee referendum for the purpose of extending the benefits provided by the system of Old Age and Survivors' Insurance to the employees and officials of the City as specified in Section 33.35 of this subchapter, which agreement shall provide for those methods of administration of the plan by the City as are found by the State agency to be necessary and proper and, subject to employee referendum, shall be effective with respect to services in employment covered by the agreement performed on and after January 1, 1958.
