§ 37.24. NONATTENDANCE AT MEETINGS; REMOVAL FROM OFFICE.

  • If any regular Code Enforcement Board member fails to attend two (2) out of three (3) successive meetings without cause and without prior approval of the Chairperson, the Board shall declare the member's office vacant, and the City Commission shall promptly fill that vacancy. The members shall serve at the pleasure of the Commission and may be suspended or removed with or without cause at any time by a majority vote of the Commission; and may also be removed for cause at any time by a majority vote of the Commission according to the procedures for removal of Board members as set forth in this Code.
