§ 38.01. DEPOSIT REQUIRED FOR APPLICATIONS REQUIRING PUBLIC NOTICE.

(A)

Whenever any application is made to the City whereby it is necessary to publish newspaper notice or to notify property owners or others by mail, the person making application shall deposit with the City the estimated cost and expense of giving that notice, and moneys collected therefor shall be deposited in the General Fund of the City.

(B)

The officers of the City with whom the applications as provided in this Section may be filed shall be charged with the duties of collecting those expenses and costs.
