§ 93.28. RATES.

(a)

At such time as Federal law permits rate regulation, the City reserves all rights to implement and impose such regulation, and may do so by amendment to this Chapter, by separate Chapter, by amendment to a franchise agreement, or in any other lawful manner.

(b)

Nothing in this Chapter shall prohibit the City from regulating rates for cable services to the full extent permitted by law.

(c)

Should a franchisee desire to change any rate or charge, it shall comply with all laws with respect thereto.

(d)

Notwithstanding anything to the contrary, a franchisee shall provide to the City Manager notice of any and all changes to all subscriber rates no less than thirty (30) days prior to the effective date of such change.
