Platting is the process of preparing and recording a plat. A "plat" is a map or delineated representation of the subdivision of land, or boundary of a property, being a complete exact representation of the subdivision or boundary and other information in compliance with the requirements of F.S. Chapter 177 and these Land Development Regulations.
