§ 7.8.8. Authority to make inspections; initiating abatement.

(A)

The Chief Building Official or his designee, Building Inspectors, Code Enforcement Officers, Fire Department Officials, etc. are authorized to make any inspections and recommend any actions to the Chief Building Official or his designee as may be required to enforce the provisions of this chapter.

(B)

After the Chief Building Official or his designee has determined that a building, structure, or portion thereof is unsafe, he may initiate proceedings to abate the unsafe conditions.
